March is Minnesota FoodShare Month

March is Minnesota FoodShare Month, with the economy struggling it is no surprise that food shelf usage in the State of Minnesota has seen its largest increase ever.  To help meet this need, the 2010 March FoodShare’s campaign goal across the State is to bring in 12 million lbs. of food.  Let’s help do our part here at St. John!  Please bring nonperishable food items with you to donate to a local food shelf.  The food shelf cabinet is located in the upper level of the Gathering Area (near where the Greeters stand).  Thank you for doing your part in helping to meet this need.
