St. John Youth are selling Gift Cards (known as SCRIP) to raise money for a mission trip to Yakama, Washington this summer. These gift cards can be used for weekly gas and grocery expenses, as well as monthly purchases for clothing, entertainment, and home projects. The youth will be taking orders between services and [...] THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING WORLD VISION’S 30 HOUR FAMINE! Last Friday and into Saturday, 21 youth from Belle Plaine went without eating for 30 hours and raised $980.15 to help fight world hunger! The money raised will be sent to World Vision to help feed and care for 2 children for over a year. [...] Stjohn 30hr Famine [...] Mission Trip Fundraiser: Please drop off any costume jewelry you would like to donate for a Mission Trip Fundraiser. Please drop of at the church office only. On February 26th and 27th our youth will participate in World Vision’s 30 Hour Famine. They will be fasting for 30 hours to get a taste of hunger and to raise money to help feed and care for hungry kids and their families around the world.
