Mission Trip Fundraiser: Please drop off any costume jewelry you would like to donate for a Mission Trip Fundraiser. Please drop of at the church office only. On Wednesday, February 24th we will be having a parent and student meeting for all of our 5th and 6th graders. It will take place downstairs in between our Lenten Services at about 6:15. You’ve Got The Time to Listen to the Whole New Testament this Lent! 40 Days – 28 Minutes a Day Today we are handing out free MP3 audio recordings of the New Testament, available to pick up in our Gathering Area. St. John has been provided with these free MP3 dramatized recordings of the New Testament from [...] On February 26th and 27th our youth will participate in World Vision’s 30 Hour Famine. They will be fasting for 30 hours to get a taste of hunger and to raise money to help feed and care for hungry kids and their families around the world. Students in grades 7-12 who are interested in participating [...] Pastor Lepper is attending the Youth Ministry Network Extravaganza in North Carolina and will return on Wednesday, February 10. The 3rd Annual Pancake & Sausage Breakfast Hosted by Boy Scout Troop 370 will be Sunday, Feb. 7th, 8:30 am – 1 pm, at St. John Lutheran Church. A Free Will Donation ($5/person suggested donation)will be accepted and matching funds will be made by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. The Constitution and By-Laws for St. John have been revised and will be up for approval at the January 25th congregational meeting.
