Thank You For Supporting World Vision's 30 Hour Famine!

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING WORLD VISION’S 30 HOUR FAMINE! Last Friday and into Saturday, 21 youth from Belle Plaine went without eating for 30 hours and raised $980.15 to help fight world hunger! The money raised will be sent to World Vision to help feed and care for 2 children for over a year. Our Famine youth donated their time by traveling to Feed My Starving Children in Chanhassen and packed 5,184 meals which will feed 14 kids for an entire year. They also went door-to-door and collected over 500 food shelf items for the local CAP Agency in Shakopee. We are very proud of you! Thank you for your donations and prayers and for sampling the UNIMIX and Plumpy’nut that was served at coffee hour last Sunday. And one more big THANK YOU to Cheryl Johnson, Kim Neumann, Sara Bungarden, Lori Schmit, Kirk Franck, Noah Lee, Kelly Vechinski, Pastor Mark Lepper and all the youth that participated in this year’s event.
